Meet Willow, our STEM Coordinator and adventurer extraordinaire, whose favorite quote, “I think I’m quite ready for another adventure,” from Bilbo Baggins, perfectly encapsulates her spirit. A curious and confident explorer, it’s no wonder that a book about her life would be titled “From the Sea to the Mountains”. And don’t worry about Willow getting lost during her traveling adventures, her hidden talent for remembering directions without a map will keep her safe. She jokes that her ability to navigate places after just one or two visits, means she must have been a golden retriever in a past life. This hidden talent will serve her well should she ever find herself living her dream of exploring the icy wilderness of Antarctica.

Willow’s confidence and fearlessness makes her a natural leader and mentor for the Elementary after-school youth she works with at Girls Inc. Her definition for success is “all about the positive impact you have on others, creating fulfilling connections with friends, family, and coworkers”. Which makes sense when you learn that she could be anyone for a day, she’d be Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, “just to know what it’s like to be the richest woman in the world—and to give away all that wealth to help people globally.”
